A summer-long sampling tour paired Golden Island’s uncommonly good snacks with an uncommon sight: A vintage-styled campsite that’s big on fun. Activating at festivals and fairs in the Pacific Northwest, guests got a sweet, savory taste delivered from a fully restored 1950’s camper while enjoying free games and prizes. The centerpiece—a built-from-scratch oversized lawn chair—was both impossible to miss and resist, drawing crowds and driving social sharing.
Tens of thousands of samples were delivered and just as many eyes were opened to how craveable a snack can be. Consumer feedback about the activation and product offering was overwhelmingly positive, providing valuable insight on how to continue to engage a growing audience.
